Why does this has to happen on me?

You were like a magic switch,
activating something within me.
You had abnormal charge bolts
that electrified my soul
You were the Bunsen burner
lifting my balloon off the ground
You had the key to me
unlocking my hidden destiny

Mathematically
You stood as my full 100%
Scientifically
You were the hypothesis to my mysteries
Geographically
You had the most strategic place in my heart
Truthfully
You are everything to me

Truth is bound to be unfold.
Yes I know.
But why?
For four years, I thought You were the Answer.
But You turned out to be the Question.
I had no notion.
Could there be anyone rarer than You?

我
就好比海边的
仙人掌.
只可惜,
水太咸了.

嗯.

Rain

Strolling down the alley
I enjoy the air lil' windy

Max the pup from next door
scratches on the cement floor
Is it sharpening its canine claw
or begging for its itchy jaw?

It looks through the windows
of Mabel the widow.
She chatters on the telephone
with a light hearted tone
and when she hears Max'es groan
she puffed a weary moan
But Mabel throws the dog a bone
then sends it running home.

A streak of lightning through the sky
and motorcycles speeding by
and the looming night
indicating a watery sight.

Rain.

Pitter-patter sounds so sooth
droplets fall upon zinc roofs
increasing the pace i move
before the rain comes in a whoosh

Returning to where i started
Mabel was still like a faucet
raising her voice through the mouth piece
she sounded like a flock of geese

Max scurried to its home
still gnawing at its bone
nobody heard its whimper
and so it got wetter

I reached the end of the alley
and stopped in front of a gully
should I jump at the count of three
my conscience sure would disagree.

Its the long route now I guess
or could I just sit down and rest?

I looked to the black yonder
and thought of my mother
She would be sitting there to wait
and wonder why am I so late

So I then made up my mind
to race home before dinner-time
I ran as though someone's behind
But the rain stopped suddenly so divine.

Missing You

Swiveling neurons in my mind,
Each with it our happier times,
The sweet times,
the lovable times,
and the sad times.
Now..?

The Flower blossoms as we see,
attractive it is to the bees.
It was just like you and me,
sadly now they're memories.
Here I am along the quay,
hovering thoughts like waves of sea.
Come never ending and then recede,
They all bring both gloom and glee.

Missing us; missing You,
Every second? Indeed I do.
Closing my eyes thinking of You,
Is really one big déjà vu.

Death

Death is compulsory,
from your skin to arteries.
Is it impossible to foresee,
The Pearly Gates or fiery seas?
It strikes the old the weak the frail,
and unlucky ones in our world.
When the time comes, lo and behold;
like it or not you're bound to go.
While some believe in resurrection,
Witch doctors do resuscitation;
Like Egyptians practiced reincarnation,
Scientists study decomposition.
We all fear the Reaper's Scythe,
If it appears someone dies.
The last sense alive will be your eyes,
The last thing you'll say is good bye.

A lil poem after foundation

Our foundation in Architecture,
is finally all over.
For some may go and some prevail,
It is just a matter of mail.
Supp' is for the ones who fail,
Unlucky ones just end and bail.
Glad am I at the end of the day,
That the eight of us are here to stay.
In random will they be introduced,
For there are no such as Il Duce.
First in the list is brother Song,
He's but one big mobile-mircrophone;
Moon-like eyes a lassie dame,
Quacks like a todd, Hui Hui's her name;
Next comes Linxin with a cam in hand,
Trigger-happy fingers doesn't give a damn;
Japanesified by anime,
Sue Teng however doesn't put books at bay;
Tauke looks and a leer that kills,
Wei Shen's never afraid of asking refills;
Max has a liking for fresh verdure,
For all he has done we call him 'father';
Calm and content as always he pretends?
Tight-lipped though Leong Wei is the man;
The last one you ask is he good or bad?
Sadly you will have to be the judge to that.
This sums up our introduction,
Like it or not, its the way we function.
